From Glasgow & M74 by Car
 
Continue East on the M8 motorway and leave at junction 6
 
Head towards Airdrie
 
You will approach a main roundabout with a BP garage on your right hand side. At this roundabout turn right onto the A89 and continue for approximately 2 mile.
 
You will enter the village of Plains. At the far end of the village you will go under a railway bridge, as soon as you go under this bridge turn right onto Stepends Road and continue up the hill.
 
The entrance to Lochinvar Guest House is the first place you will come to on your left hand side.
 
 
From Edinburgh by Car

From Stirling by Car
 
From the M9 join the M80 signposted Glasgow & Edinburgh
 
Stay on the M80 for approximately 11 miles and take the A73 exit towards Airdrie.
 
Keep on this road until you enter Airdrie, you will come to a roundabout where you will see a BP garage ahead of you. At this roundabout turn left onto the A89 and continue for approximately 2 mile.
 
You will enter the village of Plains. At the far end of the village you will go under a railway bridge, as soon as you go under this bridge turn right onto Stepends Road and continue up the hill.

The station closest to Lochinvar Guest House is Caldercruix, with both Drumgelloch and Airdrie only a very short drive.  Caldercruix & Drumgelloch and both village stations, therefore if you require pick up from any of these locations, please let us know in advance and we will be more than happy to meet you.
